Not medical advice
Open Assay is an independent education and analytical-testing platform. It is not a clinic, a pharmacy, or a medical practice. Nothing on this site — including peptide reference pages, supplier reviews, evidence summaries, or commentary — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a prescription.
Consult a qualified healthcare provider
If you are considering any compound for a medical purpose, consult a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare provider. Self-administration of compounds sold for research use only is not something Open Assay can or will support with guidance.
What we do publish
We publish what peer-reviewed scientific literature reports about each compound: mechanism of action, human clinical evidence where it exists, dose ranges used in cited studies (reported as historical fact, never as protocol recommendations), reported adverse events, regulatory status, and notable gaps or controversies in the evidence base.
Regulatory status
The regulatory status of every peptide is noted on that peptide's reference page. FDA-approved medications are identified as such with their approved indications and labeling. Compounds that are not approved, that are on FDA's 503A Category 2 list, or that are investigational are identified as such.
Testing data
The testing data we publish is about the analytical characteristics of samples (purity, identity, endotoxin) purchased from specific suppliers. It is not a safety or efficacy claim about the compounds themselves in any biological context.
Emergencies
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (in the United States) or your local emergency number immediately.
