About

Research-first. Testing-led. Openly honest.

Open Assay is an independent education and testing platform for research peptides. We exist because the peptide category is overrun with marketing that outruns the evidence, and most "review" sites sell the same products they review.

What we do

We publish evidence-first reference pages for research peptides, with primary literature citations on every factual claim. And we test the suppliers that sell those peptides — independently, using blind-purchased samples, with results published at /suppliers/compare.

How we make money

We earn affiliate commissions when researchers buy from suppliers we link to. Our rankings and test results are determined before affiliate relationships are established, and we publish failing test results on our affiliate partners. Suppliers cannot pay for favorable coverage. See our editorial policy and affiliate disclosure for the non-negotiables.

What we are not

We are not a clinic. We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or recommend dosing. The compounds we cover are sold for research use only. Nothing on this site is a recommendation for human consumption. See our medical disclaimer.

Who runs it

Open Assay is a small team led by a founding editor, with plans for a named scientific reviewer with relevant analytical or life-sciences credentials before any peptide page is published with that reviewer's byline. See /team for the current masthead.
